Letter from our Founder

Dear Customer,

My name is Garry Greenwalt. Growing up on a farm in game-rich eastern Washington, from an early age I had the opportunity to hunt whitetail, elk, bears, turkey, and upland birds right out my backdoor. Over the past 40 years I have gained a great deal of experience hunting the western states and Alaska (I've lived in AK for nearly a decade). I have had the chance to hunt and call-in most game species that we are lucky enough to pursue.

With a degree in wildlife biology, extensive experience in fabrication, over a decade of running my own outfitting operation coupled with my own hunting experience, building quality game calls comes naturally. Along with my own expertise, I draw on the knowledge and experience of a small circle of highly experienced hunters (who are also close friends) to be sure I am bringing you the highest quality calls possible.

Sincerely,

Garry Greenwalt, Owner

Snakewood Elk Call on MiniLathe

How it Started

I have been tinkering with and tweaking game calls for as long as I can remember. For years, I've had my own designs bouncing around in my head, and in 2021, it was time to begin bringing those ideas to life. I hunted and tested hundreds of calls and found the desire to bring my vision to life.

It all started off as a hobby in the garage on a cheap mini lathe. I developed my techniques while creating my first cow elk calls and turkey pot calls. This passion for shaping wood and creating new sounds quickly escalated into a fun side gig through social media. It's amazing how quickly my work has taken shape and fostered a newfound profession.

Relocation & Renovation

The call workshop was once an old homestead, then turned into a fox farm shed, and for a long time it served as the family's chicken house. This little workshop sits on farmland on the upper hills overlooking Chewelah, WA.

We have expanded our small business over the last few years and will continue to offer a greater variety of high-quality calls as we grow!

Our Team

This isn't a one-man show. While I am the only one who builds the calls, a small handful of people behind the scenes have helped make this happen. From the unwavering support of my better half, to the invaluable input and constructive criticism of a few close hunting partners, there is no way I could do this on my own!
